Yes Day 
This is intended to be a reminder to say YES. 
Yes to You. 
When we get those inklings, those thoughts, those ohh that might be nice feelings... follow them! more often even when we dont know where they will lead or if we should, but I can guarantee that if you do life will show you more joy. 
 
So why is it that we don't trust, listen and follow our gut more?  Well here's my theory - do you have kids? how often do they ask you for something and you say no. or not now. life gets busy, don't be hard on yourself, sometimes no is a quicker answer than anything else, quicker than a yes, ok and quicker than anything other than just plain no. 
 
So this artwork is for all the mothers out there, especially with little kids, to encourage you to stop and think when your kids ask you for something and if you can say yes to them say YES. if they are asking for lollies, or something you dont want them to have, give them more than a no... consider where they are coming from so that they learn to do the same thing for themself, rather than falling into the loop of that looks good - but no. Its a good thing to be conscious of as a mum. How can we as mums create kids who tap into and trust their own knowing, wanting and feel good... see what yes, a loving look in the eyes does (not always, but when it matters).
